IMQAS

IMQAS is an independent meat inspection service provider that inspects each and every carcass to ensure that it is fit for consumption. A consulting veterinarian is on sight daily to asses critical control points in the process.

SABS LABS

SABS Lab which is a SANAS accredited laboratory randomly completes monthly microbiological tests to ensure strict adherence to our Hygiene standards.

The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is consulted with regards to any meat quality issues

WOOLWORTHS DOUBLE CHECKS

To remain on the Woolworths A list of suppliers we are annually audited. This audit looks at issues surrounding labour practices, animal welfare, staff training, hygiene and traceability in the production system.

The Department of Agriculture, Conservation, Environment and Land Affairs (Gauteng ) performs monthly Hygiene Assessment audits which also include animal welfare. It is based on these audits that we have won the Gauteng Abattoir of the Year award consistently and which is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team to producing top quality beef.
