Gone are the days of salt being the only popcorn-topping option!
How about mixing biltong, dark chocolate and popcorn? This easy to make recipe will entice your taste buds and satisfy your cravings.
What you’ll love: Popcorn will never be the same…
In a deep pot on the stovetop, heat the fat or sunflower oil, add the popcorn kernels and gently toss to ensure they’re coated with fat or oil.
Wait for the first kernels to pop and remove the pot from the stovetop, cover with a lid and wait for 30 seconds. Return the pot to the heat. When popcorn is popping, shake the pot. When the popping slows, remove from the heat.
Drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn and sprinkle with biltong dust. Toss thoroughly to ensure even coating.
TO SERVE: Pour popcorn into bowls.
Popcorn is tasty on its own but it can be topped with anything your creative imagination can dream up.
