Ingredients
- What you'll need:
- 500g Chalmar Lamb Mince
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 1 Chilli (finely chopped)
- Good pinch of Salt and pepper
- 1tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Origanum
- 2 tsp Cumin
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- Minted Yoghurt:
- 1 cup Double Cream/Greek Yoghurt
- 1 Tbsp Mint Sauce
- To serve:
- Cucumber Ribbons (2 small cucumbers peeled into ribbons)
- Flat Breads
Instructions
- Method:
- Break the mince into a bowl and add lemon zest, chilli, coriander, origanum, cumin, onion and a good pinch of Salt and pepper.
- Mix well with your hands.
- Form into 12 equally sized balls.
- Fry in batches in a dry, nonstick frying pan on med/high heat. You can serve these slightly pink in the middle or cooked all the way through.
- Pour out the excess lamb fat between batches.
- Serve hot with flat breads, minted yoghurt and cucumber ribbons.
